Public School and State University work have played an important factor in the continued growth of MEI. Mitchell Enterprises has constructed projects for Texas A&M Commerce, University of North Texas, Texas Women's University, and the University of Texas.

Mitchell Enterprises has also performed large public school projects, up to 13.5 million dollars. Our work is on display at Sherman ISD, Denison ISD, Southlake/Carrol ISD, Arlington ISD, Whitesboro ISD, Pottsboro ISD, Plano ISD, Richard ISD, Garland ISD, Garland ISD, and Marshall ISD. MEI's involvement in public school construction dates back to 1964. The early development of MEI was centered around building programs in the Richardson, Plano, and Garland School Districts. Projects have included instructional, administrative, and athletic complexes.

MEI understands the commitments made once bond programs are voted on and teachers, parents, and taxpayers are promised new school buildings to serve the needs of a growing community. We at Mitchell Enterprises understand how important the first open house of a new school or facility is to a community.
