The involvement of MEI in the Health
Care Industry began in 1980 when the company was known as Mit-Con,
Inc. Our work in this area led to the eventual selection of our
firm as Construction Manager on over 23 million dollars of work
for the Wilson N. Jones Memorial Hospital in Sherman, TX and a
nine million dollars project for Texoma Medical Center in
Denison, TX. We have performed specialized work concerning
facilities for MRI, heart cauterization, gastronenterology,
rehabilitation facilities, and state-of-the-art surgery suites.
Such facilities have also been constructed for
Harris Medical Center, Fort Worth, TX, and the University of
Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. These projects were
accomplished while keeping the facilities in full operation.
